Future planning

how efficient is your future planning? 

Until I was 19, I believed I would become a doctor like my father. I studied at lot to get into medical school, which I did. Well, I am now in London working in a digital marketing agency. Totally different from what I expected I would be. Now I reached the age of 24, and it is time to think deeply about my future. 

Well when looking back my plan I am currently planning in 10 years, it would be interesting to see how different it would get. 

 

I am planning to start up my company. well still in a beginning phase where I am still looking for ideas. 

I need to get more knowledge and know-how to start off but I am still wondering how far I should plan before kicking off to do business. 

Should I start up a company with a partner if so, I need to find one essentially. 

I am thinking to do import/export business between UK and Japan. Is there anyone who is interested in?;p

I am also thinking to do business only in London as I want my kids to be brought up in an English speaking country so that my kids would not have to make efforts to learn English. 

 

when the earth will my future plan get clearer and certain/ Or should I just embrace this uncertainty?

Rose ~a fine rose stands out even though it is not in a bundle~

It was the first hot day in london this year and that was almost all the Londoners had waited for. It is still nice and sunny outside but sadly I have to be seated at the desk inside.

Last weekend, my guy bought me a big rose for a surprise.

He said that he had gone to 4 flower shops to find a big and stand-out rose on its own. Usually flowers stand out in a bundle but not on its own but what he got me was absolutely different.

A rose with big and blood-like red on a thick stem.

This flower just reminds me of the important fact.

If a thing can stand out on its own, it does not need decorations to make it look better.

The important thing is that you need to improve yourself not only your appearance but also your personality and your inner beauty so that the beauty come out from inside of you and you will look great without unnecessary decorations on you.

Wimbledom

When you see my title, Wimbledon, how many people expected to see a post on the tennis tournament that’s been a hot topic. In a foreigner’s view, I really do not understand why English people want to take a day off to watch a tennis match. I really do not know any single player and sometimes hard to catch up with my colleagues as drinking and talking about wimbledon. If I was into tennis, that would have been a different story but sadly I am not.

What I want to talk about today is a Italian restaurant that is just outside of Wimbledon station I went to last week.

The pizza I had was called ‘large pizza’ and the name tells you more than you need. 

Sorry for my photoshop skills. I am still a beginner and learning it.

If you know a good blog on which you can learn basics of Photoshop, do let me know.

Coming back to what I was writing, as well as pizza they offer, the customer service there was really unique.

First of all, they like women, not men. lol

When entering the restaurant, I asked for a table of 3, me, my sis and a guy. A server said’ table for 2 you girls or for 4 including me.

Also, they was naughty…well let’s put is as being entertaining….when I asked where the bathroom is, a server led me to a back room where they stock all the fancy wines.

When I kindly asked for one more fork since my sister dropped one on the floor, they answered simply, ‘NO!!!’

It was quite annoying well I personally liked the customer service there but I am sure that that is ‘love or hate’.

London finally got to enjoy a summer day!!!!!!!

things to do this summer

I am wondering what I should do to make the most of this summer.

I was reading a linkedin article by Mr Kim read, “You should do what no one do not expect you to do and learn a new thing.” I have already done pretty much of unusual things in my life and so I could not think of anything peculiar. Any ideas?

Also I have decided to learn Photoshop myself so that at the end of summer Photoshop will become one of my expertise. Do you know some good websites or blogs where I could learn all the basics to advanced skills. I have to admit that I am an absolute beginner.

stress nausea

My bf is under massive pressure and I saw him throwing up in a morning. It was pretty shocking and made me perplexed since I had no idea how to deal with the situation and him.

He said that happens from time to time and that is not unusual to him. Is that one of panic attack?? Does some herb help? some mild anti-depressant?

He is totally fine in the public but once at home with me alone, he just turns into being ill. How does it happen?

Let’s face it – English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren’t invented in England or French fries in France . Sweetmeats are sweets while sweetbreads, which aren’t sweet, are meat.

We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig..

And why is it that writers write but fingers don’t fing, grocers don’t groce and hammers don’t ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn’t the plural of booth, beeth? One goose, 2 geese. small happiness on the way to work

On the way to work, I was paying more attention as usual to find something special. Nothing shouldn’t be new since I have been taking the way for a while.

However, I have found something that me feel warm this morning and what was different from ordinary days was just my attention towards the outside world.

This may apply to anything. We might not just notice what we have around us even though they are there.

A small flower made me happy this morning!!

The covent garden academy of flowers

A couple months ago, I took a one-day flower arranging course in The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers. I have worked as a corsage designer since my grandma was one of the best corsage artist in Japan and I was given a chance to do so. She is retired now but my passion about flowers still stay there and I always wanted to be among flowers. I am not an artistic person or something but I just like to see flowers and see people who look happy looking at flowers. 

This is what I made on that day. 

 

When you feel down and walk down the street blankly, a little cute flower alongside the road might catch your eyes. I often find myself cheered up by flowers.
